🚗 Get a South Carolina Driver’s License

New residents must transfer their out-of-state license within 90 days of establishing residency in South Carolina. You’ll need to visit a local SC DMV office with proof of identity, Social Security number, and two documents proving your new SC address.

🚙 Register Your Vehicle

You must register your vehicle in South Carolina within 45 days of moving. Bring your title, proof of insurance, and completed forms to your local DMV. Don’t forget—SC has a one-time infrastructure maintenance fee (IMF) instead of an annual vehicle tax.

🏠 Change Your Address
